Professional Background
Prior to joining Fern Tiger Associates, Evelyn worked at a literary magazine based in Oakland, where she provided administrative and editorial support throughout the various phases of assembly and publication. While earning her Bachelor of Arts degree in both Psychology and Sociology at University of California, Santa Cruz, she worked as a Research Assistant in various arenas of the social sciences, helping to coordinate and conduct studies in diverse topics ranging from neuro-cognitive spatial mapping to nonverbal communication in the public arena. Since moving to Oakland, Evelyn has performed hands-on volunteer work for the Humane Society as well as coordination and outreach support in community fundraising for the Montessori Family Schools of the East Bay.
